Neil Gregory

Senior Advisor
Neil Gregory is an internationally recognized expert in impact investing and development finance. He teaches at Johns Hopkins’ School of Advanced International Studies, leads research for global think tanks, and advises international Development Finance Institutions (DFIs). Neil was previously Chief Thought Leadership Officer for the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private investment arm of the World Bank Group, where he led the creation of the Operating Principles for Impact Management. Before that, he held a range of senior strategy and operational roles at IFC; he was Advisor to the UK Executive Director of the World Bank and IMF; and began his career as an Economic Adviser to the UK government. Neil holds masters’ degrees in Economics from Cambridge and Oxford Universities and an MBA from Georgetown University.
